Technology Enhanced Language Learning Research Trends and Practices: A Systematic Review (2020-2022)

In recent years, the role of technology in language classrooms has grown importance. Due to developments education sector, technology-enhanced learning (TELL) come into spotlight. Previous studies have shown that encourages both instructors and students take an active process. light widespread adoption enabling power immersive technologies potential applications TELL, it is imperative literature be continuously investigated identify types tendencies order understand current practises guide future research field with two questions; RQ1: What are trends practices TELL teaching learning? RQ2: methodologies employed studies? This review carefully examines overall chart development during past few years. Out 87 publications found 2020–2022, 17 were selected using exclusion inclusion criteria from Web Science (WoS) Scopus. Using five codes obtained previous systematic reviews, we performed analysis synthesis these publications. The are: 1) aim, 2) methodology, 3) sample, 4) country, 5) outcomes. bulk used a quantitative technique look learning, was more universities than other schools, lowest occurrence seen primary schools. findings, suggestions for investigation made. Academicians urged broaden scope study include all levels better TELL's usage learning.
